Bronze Winged Parrot paperweight from Royal Crown Derby. The Bronze Winged Parrot is called a "Living Rainbow" by some aviculturists, and it is perhaps the most beautiful of all the different parrots. They also tend to be the shyest. Found in the tropical and sub tropical forests of Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador and Peru, this good natured parrots lives on a diet of berries, fruits, flowers and seeds. This stunning piece has violet blue feathers and is heavily decorated with 22-carat gold. Modeled by Mark Delf. Designed by Tien Manh Dinh. Made in England.
