Invented before the inception of the drinking straw, strainers like this one were designed to separate ice and macerated mint from juleps so they could be sipped oh-so smoothly. This stainless steel strainer is ideal to give all of your stirred or shaken cocktails a perfectly lovely finish. Made just for us to fit our Ascutney Cocktail Pitcher.
