Inspiration for this pattern came from tableware found in the wreck of a Spanish galleon: the beautiful blue of the drawings toned down by water and salt, as well as classical eighteenth century drawings, were the source of inspiration for the artist. In its monochrome version, this classic design has become a must-have over the decades.
