The basis for „The Original“ is a variant of the onion pattern from the years between 1733 and 1735. The crossed swords in the bamboo stem were added to the original decoration, which clearly distinguishes the Meissen original from possible imitators. The decoration was applied to different colours, which also form the basis for the new MEISSEN „Uni plate collection“. The colourful decorations consisting of seladon, yellow, red, rosé, blue and petrol make „The Original“ a unique dinner service that is second to none.
